Who is responsible

Information we collect and why

We collect your account name, email, authentication identifiers and optional profile details; the contact phone number and song brief you provide; recipient names, occasion, stories, lyrics and references; approvals, samples, order status and payment references. We use these to create and deliver your song, manage your account, contact you about the order and resolve problems. Contract performance is our basis for the information needed to provide your order; legal obligations apply to required financial records. Necessary security, fraud prevention and service administration rely on our legitimate interests, balanced against your rights. We ask separately for any optional marketing permission; ordering is not marketing consent.

Please share only information needed for the song. Avoid sensitive information about health, religion, sexuality or other people unless you have first discussed an appropriate basis with us. Our shop is intended for adults; a parent or guardian should place an order for a child. We do not need a child’s account or date of birth.

Who receives information

Authorised members of our production team can access your order. Google Firebase provides sign-in and account services; Cloudflare hosts the website, database and uploaded audio, and sends transactional order confirmations and production updates through Cloudflare Email Service. Those emails contain your order/contact details and agreed terms, without your personal story; Stripe processes checkout and receives account/contact and order/payment metadata. We do not store your full payment-card details. Suno is used for AI-assisted music production and hosted samples. Its privacy policy describes processing in the United States and use of submitted content to develop and improve its services, including AI models. Avoid including unnecessary personal details in lyrics. Read the Suno privacy policy before sharing sensitive material. Customer messages may be handled through our email provider and, if you choose it, WhatsApp. These providers process information under their own terms and applicable privacy arrangements.

Some providers operate internationally and may process information outside the UK. We assess the relevant provider terms, transfer arrangements and safeguards before expanding processing. You can ask us for details of the arrangements applicable to your order. We do not sell your personal information.

How long information is kept

Uploaded preview and final audio are available for one calendar month after delivery; access ends at expiry and scheduled cleanup removes the files, retrying failed storage deletions. Personal story/lyric details are removed from delivered orders after twelve months. Cancelled orders’ creative content is removed after 90 days, and unfinished orders’ creative content after twelve months without activity. Documented dispute or legal holds may delay removal; a hold does not extend customer downloads. Historical unreferenced uploads older than thirty days enter a seven-day quarantine and are rechecked before removal. Checkout drafts expire after seven days and are cleaned up automatically. Admin sessions expire after eight hours; expired session records are cleaned up after thirty days. Sign-in profiles remain until you delete them or ask for deletion. Basic order, contract and financial records are retained for support and applicable tax-record requirements; for a sole trader, those requirements can run for at least five years after the relevant 31 January tax-return deadline. Basic records are automatically deleted after the later of six years after closure and the applicable sole-trader tax-record minimum, unless held for a documented dispute/legal requirement. Account sequence counters prevent order-number reuse. Retention in provider systems or backups follows their applicable arrangements and legal requirements; removing our uploads does not erase Suno-hosted content.

Deleting your profile removes your sign-in account and local unfinished draft. It does not automatically erase an existing purchase, contract or required financial record. Contact us to request access, correction or erasure; we assess any lawful retention requirement and explain the outcome.

Cookies, device storage and external media

Sign-in/security cookies and Firebase browser storage support authentication and fraud prevention. A private-testing access cookie lasts up to seven days; an admin cookie lasts up to eight hours. The shop stores your unfinished brief and checkout progress in this tab’s session storage, and your selected theme in local storage. These support the service or preferences you request; browser controls let you clear them, which may sign you out or remove an unfinished draft.

We do not automatically load advertising scripts. Suno players load only after you choose to load a sample; this connects your browser to Suno, which receives technical information such as your IP address and may use its own storage. That choice is optional, applies to the selected player and can be reversed by unloading it. External YouTube and social links open the provider’s site when clicked.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting processing already carried out. Email us; we normally respond within one month, subject to lawful extensions and identity checks. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. You may also have rights under laws that apply in your country.

Security and changes

We use authenticated access, permissions and restricted storage to protect your information. No system can guarantee absolute security. We review this notice when our service or providers change and bring material changes to your attention. Privacy contact: aurunex.ventures@gmail.com.
